Director, Inland Procurement
Salary Range: $130,000.00 to $177,500.00
Location
Naperville, IL. This position will follow a hybrid work-from-home/office model with at least three days in the office weekly
Role Summary
Leads NA Procurement team in developing strategies that secure industry leading service while maintaining cost stability and competitiveness.
Additional Responsibilities
Responsible Inland Operations procurement team to include truck rates and routes as well as optimization efforts. Overall scope of functional area service procurement includes Rail and Truck transportation contracting, Depot and M&R Services and Chassis provisioning. Directive is to insure cargo moves using the most cost efficient routings. Works cross functionally and with external groups to accomplish service goals and cost containment goals. Develops and maintains good working relationships with key service providers. Responsible and accountable for all employees reporting directly or indirectly to this position and for ensuring company policy is communicated and followed. Proactively communicates cross-functionally to eliminate controllable service exceptions and operational costs. Identifies opportunities for operational efficiencies and coordinates cross-functional service efforts. Ability to draw upon 5+ years of management experience in the international transportation industry. Possess a proven track record in monitoring and meeting departmental performance and financial metrics. Experience overseeing expenditures exceeding $500,000,000 annually, is a plus.

ONE NA follows a hybrid work schedule requiring employees to work 3 days in the office (i.e. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 2 days remote each week.
