Location:

Richmond, VA. This position will follow a hybrid work-from-home/office model with at least three days in the office weekly

Role Summary:

This position supports activities involving Yield Management within North America Region, using data handling and analytical skills to visualize and provoke actions which lead to improvement of the yield of the company. High degree of accuracy is required to provide data related to company policy decisions. Requires strong analytical and handling skills of big data composed of not only commercial related but operational cost, container flow & velocity, and financial / accounting and factors. It is essential that this function provides support to the Manager of the department, as well as Container Flow Management, Execution Marketing, Inland Operation, and Procurement. This position also works as a liaison between Marketing/Sales division and BPIT organization within ONE North America.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Strong understanding of data elements involved in ONE’s activities, including but not limited to B/L data, Container Flow data, cost data and accounting data.
  • Get involved in resolving system-related issues concerning Marketing/Sales activities as well as Cargo Management team’s activities.
  • Bridge Marketing / Sales with BPIT as needed to support Marketing/Sales activities

  • Very strong data handling skill
  • Very strong analytical skills to clarify problems and opportunities for improvement of ONE’s Yield
  • Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills         

Function-Specific Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to work cooperatively with other departments including worldwide     
  • Strong proficiency in MS applications: Excel and Google Suite applications (Sheets)
  • Advanced knowledge of macros, pivot tables, and formulas in MS Excel/Google Sheet

Required Minimum Years Experience:

Minimum 4 years’ experience in industry-related fields

Minimum 1 year of team management experience preferred

Required Minimum Education:

Bachelor's Degree Preferred
