Manager, Vessel Close Out
Salary Range: $70,000 to $107,500
Location
Rutherford NJ; This position will follow a hybrid work-from-home/office model with at least three days in the office weekly
Role Summary
Responsible for the successful execution of the Vessel Close Out (VCO) process. Leads the team by example, demonstrating dedication, focus, and innovation. Manages VCO team supervisors and operations, collaborating across divisions to ensure all container requirements are met for vessel loading. Requires effective cross-functional coordination and communication. Makes critical commercial decisions based on data-driven facts
Additional Responsibilities

Directly supervises supervisors and specialists in Rutherford, NJ.

Maintains extensive knowledge of U.S. export processes and requirements, including special cargo, rail, and U.S. Customs.

Provides weekly activity reports to management outlining key highlights and updates.

Develops and implements standardized procedures to improve team efficiency.

Holds accountability for all direct reports, ensuring clear communication and adherence to company policies.

Maintains availability for extended hours and travel as required.

Demonstrates a proactive, hands-on approach to daily operations

Required Minimum Years Experience
3+ years of management and 5+ years of function-related experience preferred.
Required Minimum Education

ONE NA follows a hybrid work schedule requiring employees to work 3 days in the office (i.e. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 2 days remote each week.
Salary commensurate with experience means your pay will be directly proportional to your background, skills, and qualifications.
