Supervisor, Vessel Close Out
Salary Range: $56,000 to $87,500
Location
Rutherford, NJ; This position will follow a hybrid work-from-home/office model with at least three days in the office weekly
Role Summary
Responsible for the successful execution of the Vessel Close-Out (VCO) process at the Rutherford, NJ office, assisting the Manager in developing and implementing policies and procedures to deliver an optimal level of service. Manage VCO functions, actively collaborating with all operational areas and key divisions to ensure containers meet all necessary requirements and successfully load their intended vessels. Provide direct supervision, leadership, and performance guidance to the VCO staff. Facilitate effective cross-functional communication and coordination across the organization.
Additional Responsibilities
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of reefer, dangerous goods (DG), breakbulk shipments, and over-dimensional cargo.
- Provide direct supervision and ongoing coaching to the specialist team.
- Maintain a solid understanding of export rail processes and logistics.
- Ensure full compliance with U.S. Customs requirements and regulatory standards.
- Be accountable for direct reports, ensuring all company policies are clearly communicated and consistently followed.
- Maintain availability for extended working hours and business travel as required.

Required Minimum Years Experience
Supervisory experience preferred; 2+ years of function-related experience.
Required Minimum Education

ONE NA follows a hybrid work schedule requiring employees to work 3 days in the office (i.e. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 2 days remote each week.
Salary commensurate with experience means your pay will be directly proportional to your background, skills, and qualifications.
