Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, Business Process

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide business support & training to ONE’s application system related to accounting modules (AR, AP, Accruals, etc)
  • Collate, analyze and map system & process workflow.
  • Work with business stakeholders on business process performance monitoring, reporting, improvement analysis & propose guidelines.
  • Act as intermediary between business users( & technical team to gather requirements, perform analysis, conduct user acceptance test and user training. 
  • Create business use cases, analyze business data and propose solutions to enhance organization performance. 
  • Validate newly created reports and develop corrective actions to improve data integrity and quality.
  • A steward of good data practices - robust documentation, process and knowledge sharing.
  • System support and support standard process establishment & alignment.
  • Implementation of system enhancements, new regulations and/or processes
  • Maintain/publish new Global SOP for relevant business processes
  • Mapping of system & process workflow
  • Completion of tasks in agreed/given time frame
  • Response to user queries within 1 working day and follow-up as necessary till closure
  • Concise Presentation and Analysis of issues
  • Able to provide solutions on own initiatives
  • Timely completion of enhancement from requirements study, specification, UAT till deployment
  • Timely training and notification to user community on new enhancement/regulation/process
  • Standardize business processes and rules
  • Maintenance or completion of relevant business process SOP
  • Able to create & maintain process maps

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline
  • Min 2 years experience in a MNC, preferably in business process management area specialized on Accounting related modules
  • Knowledge in Business Process Management practices preferred. 
  • Tech savvy with an open mind to learn & apply new technologies and new methodologies. 
  • Highly adaptable & open to job rotation for career progression.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, good interpersonal skills, highly organised and effective, and a good team player.
  • Possess the ability to deliver quality documentation – must be able to express viewpoints using clear and concise language.
  • Prior experience in container shipping business, having understanding of global accounting practices and project management is a definite advantage.
